Penguin – Student Design Award 2020 Brief

Penguin’s Student Design Award 2020 tasked graphic communicators across the country to design a book cover for one of three books:

• Adult Fiction: The Night Manager by John le Carré
• Adult Non-Fiction: A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson
• Children: Goodnight Mister Tom by Michelle Magorian

The deadline for submission is March 3rd 2020 at 2.00pm.

The deliverable file must meet the following:

• PDF format
• Bitmaps at 300ppi
• CMYK colour scheme
• 5mm bleed
• Trim and crop marks included
• Maximum file size 5MB

The book I chose to design a cover for is A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson.
